How do I book my stay?
Click the “Book an Event” button in the top right corner of the website and follow the instructions.
What time do we need to check in or out?
Check In - 4 PM
Check Out - 10 AM
If there is not a group leaving or arriving that day then earlier or later times may be fine, just ask.
Do I need to sign a waiver before I arrive?
Every guest needs to have signed and returned a waiver BEFORE they arrive at the ranch. In many cases the organizer can distribute, collect and send them to david@gamersranch.com . Please have them ready and to us BEFORE the guests arrive.
What is your refund policy?
Deposits are refundable up to 6 months before the event date. If you are unable to make the event after that we reserve the right to keep to deposit to try and offset the loss of booking that weekend.
What is the guest limit?
Maximum 20 Guests with signed waivers.
We do not allow outside folks to visit the ranch during stays.
What is the minimum stay?
We have a three night minimum stay policy.
Are their any additional charges beyond the nightly rate?
There is a $250 one time cleaning fee to cover generally expected cleaning between guests. There are a few optional fees that such as if you decide to build a model RC plane, buy some Gamers Ranch swag or in the unfortunate event cause some major damage. We try to be all inclusive with the events and feel that additional costs just hampers peoples fun. We try and work with guests if something minor breaks, assume that there is a natural rate that things break and we typically absorb the cost.
Do you have any testimonials or references?
We have been very fortunate that many of our guests have left reviews for us. They are a bit split up between a few sources but I will provide links below.
Are there any discounted rates if we have less than the guest limit?
At the moment we only have one nightly rate for groups up to 20 guests.
Are you closed during any part of the year?
We are now open all year around!
Do your rates change seasonally?
We have one nightly rate all year around.
Do you and your family stay on the premise?
We are not your typical Airbnb or Vrbo. Myself, my wife, sometimes my teenage son are onsite next door with my amazing dog Ratchet who loves to fish, play basketball and is Frisbee crazy. We are there to ensure you have a great time. We love board games as much as you do an enjoy getting to know everyone and playing games like one of the crew!
Is Gamers Ranch kid friendly?
Kids will have a great time at Gamers Ranch with so many things to so there is never a dull moment. While we are kid friendly we are not setup to host younger children under the age of 13.
Cole Redington's Review (5/5)
"I am a 14 year old, and I even think this place is awesome. You know, since teens are supposed to be negative. Anyways, there is so much to do here. It's unbelievable! Like how you can play ping pong, basketball, and videogames. Plus, you can swim, kayak, and play with the RC vehicles. But my favorite thing is the board games. There are so many to choose from! If you go here, I recommend One Night Werewolf and Santorini."
Priscilla Walker's Review (5/5)
"I loved our stay, it felt like a second home to me. I loved the multiple activities, I would recommend visiting the ranch. I just don't have words to describe the fun my friends and family had!"
Would you consider donating stays for charity?
Please contact david@gamersranch.com to discuss your needs and how we can help.
Do you host other events such as weddings?
At the moment we are limiting our events to mini board game conventions and board gaming vacations. We evaluate every other opportunity on a case by case basis. Contact david@gamersranch.com for more information.
Can we stop by and see the ranch before booking?
You can absolutely stop by the ranch and check it out. We love visitor and maybe stay and play a game or two with us. We ask that you check our Booking Calendar to ensure we don't have guests at the time and contact us at david@gamersranch.com and let us know when you might want to come out.
I think I left something there, how can I check and get it back?
Have no fear this happens more often than you think. After a group leaves we typically find at least one thing left behind. We will then email our main contact for the group and depending on where you live arrange a way to get the item back to you.
Is drinking allowed?
Drinking in moderation in allowed and in all of the groups we have had there has never been a problem. We do reserve the right to ask any guest to leave that we feel is being unsafe and endangering another guests life or his own.
Are fireworks allowed?
Generally no however for special events, times of the year this may be appropriate. While we are out in the country we do have nice neighbors and we try reciprocate that.
Can I hunt on the property?
Hunting is not allowed. Many of our guests enjoy watching the wildlife and by not hunting the property we feel we have an increased presence for our guests to enjoy.
Can I bring my own ATV or watercraft?
We do not permit any outside ATVs, or watercraft on the property.
Can we bring our pets?
We ask that you leave your pets at home or with friends. Especially for smaller dogs as the area may not be pet friendly with many coyotes and eagles in the area it can be dangerous. We also do not have any fenced areas for dogs to let them outside.
While we do have a dog on the property he has been very well adjusted to large groups of people and I can kennel him at any time or take him off the property if necessary. In many cases if guests brought their pet and traveled here that might not be an option and sometime not every guest know each other and it can be quite awkward and a bad environment for the pets and guests.
Do you allow firearms to be shot onsite?
We do not allow firearms of any sort onsite. Concealed carry weapons are not allowed at Gamers Ranch.
